OVERVIEW
PMI Project Management Ready™ is a one-semester certification program for teachers pioneering project management-specific courses or instructors teaching other career and tech ed classes who want to equip students with foundational skills in project management. With this certification, students will be prepared for entry-level jobs such as project coordinator, event planner, and project team member and be on the pathway to further certification from the Project Management Institute® (PMI).
Integrating the PMI Project Management Ready learning resources and certification into the classroom helps students gain a credential in project management and prepare them for their next step in education or a career.
Candidates for this certification will be expected to have key conceptual knowledge and principles of project management through at least 150 hours of instruction.
