New Exam Content Outline Now Available

Later this year the CAPM exam is changing to ensure it reflects market expectations of entry- and associate-level professionals.
Extensive market research validated that today’s project team members work in a variety of environments and utilize different approaches. The new exam will test skills necessary to understand project management fundamentals as well as predictive, adaptive and business analysis principles

Gain and Maintain Your CAPM

The certification exam has 150 questions, and you have three hours to complete it.
CAPM certification holders need to earn 15 PDUs every three years to maintain the certification. Find out the specific PDU requirements.

Prerequisites

Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent)
23 hours of project management education completed by the time you sit for the exam. Our Project Management Basics online course fulfills this educational prerequisite.
